    Effective May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026

The most important thing: Svas is not a doctor. It's a vault and a reminder system. Always talk to a qualified medical professional for diagnosis and treatment — never make medical decisions based on what Svas shows you.

    1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Svas mobile app or website ("Svas," "the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use Svas.

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and the Svas team, based in India.

    2. What Svas is (and isn't)

Svas is a personal and family health record-keeping tool. It lets you and your family members:

    • Store health information you choose to enter (vitals, reports, medications, allergies, etc.)
    • Sync vital readings from devices that support Health Connect on Android
    • Receive reminders and notifications for things you ask Svas to remind you about
    • Share specific information with doctors via time-limited share links
    • Generate emergency cards for ER situations

Svas is not a medical device, a diagnostic tool, an emergency service, or a substitute for a qualified clinician. See section 7.

    3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Svas account, or 13 with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian who has their own Svas account. By signing up, you confirm you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

    4. Your account

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. That means:

    • Keep your password secure. Don't share it. Don't reuse it from other services.
    • Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access — email security@svas.app.
    • Provide accurate contact information (email, phone if you enter one) so we can reach you about your account.
    • You may have only one personal account. Family members get added as members within your account, not as separate logins (unless you explicitly invite them, in which case they create their own).

    5. Family members and their data

Svas is built around the idea that one user can store data for many people in their family. By adding a family member, you represent that:

    • You have authority to do so — for example, you are the person's parent, legal guardian, or designated caregiver.
    • Where consent is required by law (for example, for adults whose data you store), you have obtained it.
    • You understand that other people you explicitly invite into your family can see that member's data.

You are responsible for managing your family's data appropriately. If a family member who is an adult asks you to remove their data, please do so.

    6. Acceptable use

    You agree not to:

    • Use Svas for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that violates anyone's rights.
    • Upload other people's health data without their consent (when required).
    • Attempt to break into, reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise interfere with Svas's systems.
    • Use Svas to send spam, harass other users, or impersonate someone else.
    • Re-sell Svas, white-label it, or commercially exploit it without our written permission.
    • Upload viruses, malware, or content designed to harm Svas or other users.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

    7. Not medical advice

Important. Svas does not provide medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. The information shown in Svas — including but not limited to vital readings, chart trends, automatically extracted lab values, threshold-based alerts, and any commentary — is for personal record-keeping and informational purposes only.

    Specifically:

    • Out-of-range alerts (for example, a push notification when a heart-rate reading exceeds 120 bpm) are based on fixed, generic thresholds. They are not personalized to your medical history and they are not clinical alerts. They are a convenience, not a substitute for medical judgment.
    • Chart trends shown in the app may help you spot patterns, but they should not be the basis for adjusting medication, stopping treatment, or skipping doctor visits.
    • If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately. Do not rely on Svas to alert anyone for you — push notifications can be delayed, lost, or filtered by your phone's operating system.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any health-related decision.

    8. OCR and AI extraction — accuracy

When you upload a medical report or prescription, Svas uses optical character recognition (OCR) and large-language-model extraction to pull out structured values (lab results, medications, dates, etc.).

These extractions can be wrong. OCR can misread numbers, decimals can shift, units can be mis-detected, and the underlying AI models sometimes hallucinate fields that aren't actually on the report. Always review extracted values against the original document before relying on them. Svas always preserves the original image/PDF you uploaded so you can verify.

    9. Your content

Everything you upload to Svas — reports, photos, notes, readings — belongs to you. We do not claim any ownership of your content.

You grant us a limited license to store, display, transmit, and process your content for the sole purpose of operating Svas for you. We do not use your content to train AI models, sell to advertisers, or share with anyone outside the vendors necessary to run the service (see Privacy Policy section 4).

When you delete content (or your account), the license ends and we delete the content as described in the Privacy Policy.

    10. Subscriptions and payments

Most of Svas is free. The "Plus" tier unlocks additional capabilities (unlimited family members, unlimited OCR-extracted reports, etc.) for a recurring fee.

    • Subscriptions auto-renew at the price disclosed at signup, until you cancel.
    • You can cancel any time from the Account → Subscription screen. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — we don't pro-rate refunds for unused time.
    • If we change the price of a subscription, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. The new price applies only after your next renewal; you can cancel before then if you don't agree.
    • Refunds: we offer a full refund within 7 days of your first Plus subscription purchase, no questions asked. After that, refunds are at our discretion.
    • For "Lifetime" purchases (one-time, no renewal), the license is non-refundable after 7 days from purchase.
    • All prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

    11. Termination

You can stop using Svas and delete your account anytime. We can suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms — for example, by using Svas to harass other users. Where reasonable, we'll give you notice and a chance to fix the issue before terminating.

If we terminate your account for breach, your subscription is not refundable. If we terminate Svas as a whole (e.g. shutting down the service), we will give all paid users at least 90 days' notice and a pro-rata refund of any unused subscription time.

    12. Disclaimers

Svas is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any health-related consequences arising from your use of Svas. We do not warrant that any information shown by Svas is accurate, complete, or appropriate for your medical situation.

    13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we, our affiliates, or any of our vendors be liable to you for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, loss of data, or personal injury — arising out of or related to your use of Svas, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total cumulative liability for all claims arising out of these Terms or your use of Svas, regardless of the legal theory, is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have actually paid us in the 12 months immediately before the claim arose, or (b) ₹1,000 INR.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited — for example, liability for our own fraud or willful misconduct.

    14. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify us against any third-party claims, damages, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of Svas, or your upload of content that violates someone else's rights.

    15. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Svas will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Before filing a formal claim, please email legal@svas.app. We commit to attempting to resolve disputes informally and in good faith for at least 30 days before either party initiates litigation.

    16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Svas evolves. For material changes (anything that affects your rights or obligations), we will notify you in the app and by email at least 14 days before the new Terms take effect. Continuing to use Svas after that date constitutes acceptance.

For minor changes (typo fixes, clarifications), we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top without separate notice.
